How to resolve QuickBooks error (-6177, 0)

from the computer where the Quickbooks Database Manager resides:
Start
Programs
Quickbooks Database Server Manager
Click SCAN
wait until it displays scan completed

If the problem is not resolved, on the client machine (or citrix server if a published application), Click the File menu and click Utilities.
If Stop Hosting Multi-User Access appears on the menu, click it and click Yes to confirm.
