This issue begins randomly and there appears to be no setting in Facebook settings to refresh or reload pictures.
Resolution for Android Operating Systems:
- Open Settings Menu
- select Applications
- select Manage Applications
- select Facebook
- select Force Stop
- select Clear Data
- Exit the Settings Menu by selecting the Home icon
- Open the Facebook app. You may have to enter login credentials on the first access after clearing data. Pictures will now load properly.
