How to Install CISCO VPN 5.0.07.xx on  Windows 10



  1. Uninstall Cisco VPN and DNE Update (if installed)
  2. Install SonicWall VPN (32 or 64 bit version) from: http://help.mysonicwall.com/Applications/vpnclient/
    (The SonicWall VPN client installs the DNE LightWeight Filter required for the Cisco client to work on Windows 10)
  3. Extract vpnclient_setup.msi from the Cisco VPN client setup (using 7-Zip or any other zip utility)
  4. Install VPN Client using the vpnclient_setup.msi
  5. Correct Registry key: "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\CVirtA"
    value to:
    32bit: "Cisco Systems VPN Adapter"
    64bit: "Cisco Systems VPN Adapter for 64-bit Windows"
